In October 2025, the official identity was launched under the slogan “Your Journey… Your Destination,” reflecting the airport’s commitment to redefining the travel experience through innovation, sustainability, and traveler-centric design
Wide Economic and Social Impact
The project is expected to contribute approximately SAR 27 billion annually to the non-oil GDP and create 103,000 direct and indirect jobs. These figures highlight the significant economic impact the airport will have on the national economy, supporting the Kingdom’s efforts to diversify income sources and generate high-value opportunities for Saudi youth.
Supporting Riyadh’s Future Vision
The project aligns with the development plans for Riyadh to become one of the world’s top ten city economies and to accommodate the projected population growth, aiming to reach 15–20 million residents by 2030. The airport will serve as a central pillar of the capital’s infrastructure, helping transform Riyadh into a global hub for business, culture, and tourism.
